Sensory Support Service Redesign - give your views

The Sensory Support Service is being redesigned. If you use or are involved in this service, whether as a child, young person, parent, carer or professional, please give your views by July 31st via the appropriate survey for you (BELOW), to influence the development of the new service:

Reminder, next Bristol Support Group tomorrow 3rd July 12-2pm, Bristol Energy Hub BS1 5UH

A reminder that our next parent support group for the Bristol takes place tomorrow Tuesday 3rd July, 12-2pm at the Bristol Energy Hub, Ground Floor, Unit 5-6, 1 Canon's Road BS1 5UH (The hub is located near the Watershead).

There will be opportunities to ask our Bristol Team questions, meet other parents, share experioences and find out more about SEN.  Everyone welcome so please join us!

Preparing for Adulthood - 6th July - North Somerset

This workshop is facilitated by the Family Carer Support Service. The aim of the session is to help families with children approaching adulthood. It is aimed at parents/carers of young people aged 14+ or young people of this age themselves who are living in North Somerset. We hope you will gain a better understanding of what lies ahead for your child and feel reassured and excited about their future. You will feel better informed about their rights and more confident about challenging decisions when needed. Come along to find out about:

● Strengthened rights under The Care Act 
● Moving from children’s to adult services
● Transition duties

Refreshments are provided BUT please bring a packed lunch or purchase some lunch locally.
