Shop in Portishead this October? You can support us at the same time.

We are delighted to have the chance to win our share of £1,000.  You can support us to make it happen.

We are one of three charities in Portishead Waitrose green tokens scheme.  Shoppers give their free token to the charity of their choice over a month and get a share of the money based on the number of tokens.

So please do give your token to Supportive Parents.  Your money helps us buy equipment to improve our helpline service for parents and young people affected by Special Educational Needs.  Thanks for your help.

Making South Glos "Travel to School" Better

The right kind of transport to school is really important for many parents.  South Gloucestershire Council are changing how travel to school is run so it was really useful to meet Adam Silcock, Transport Review Officer and Sue Halley, Travel Trainer at our Yate Parent Support Group this month.  If you missed it, you can look over the notes from the meeting or get a good idea about the changes from the Powerpoint. There are links for how to contribute your views too.

Sounds better to me

Patchway Townswomen Guild make a difference to Supportive Parents.

What do you do about noise in a busy office?  With so many people going in and out, it can be hard to keep it down.

A generous donation from Patchway Townswomens Guild helped us find an answer.  We now have smart, new acoustic screens for our helpline area so our staff find it easier to block out distractions and focus on giving information and support about SEND.

Thank you ladies!
