Support Group talks about travel to school @ Brimsham Green School, BS37 7LB, Tuesday 15 September 2015, 7.30 – ‘til 9.00 pm

We look forward to welcoming Adam Silcock, Transport Review Officer and Sue Halley, Travel Trainer. They are coming to tell you more about the proposed changes to travel to school, and hear your thoughts about the changes.

If you know someone whose child currently accesses supported travel, but they are not on our email share or newsfeed, please share the information about the event.

Mental Wellbeing in South Gloucestershire focus groups

The Care Forum are running a project for Public health and CCG re Mental Wellbeing in South Gloucestershire and South Glos Parents & Carers will be there also.

The Mental Wellbeing in South Gloucestershire project is holding 10 focus groups with people who have experienced issues such as low mood, anxiety, bereavement, postnatal depression and stress. The focus groups will listen to what has helped people manage their mental health, and what could help more. The focus groups will be with10 different groups of people, based around different life circumstances.

Booking is essential for the focus groups, as places are limited.

 The first two focus groups will be:

Parents of children under two - Yate (Cranleigh Court) Children's Centre, Tuesday 29 September 7-8.30pm (buffet included)

Parents and carers of children and young people with disabilities or additional needs - Emersons Green Village Hall, Thursday 8 October 10.30am-12 noon (followed by lunch)

The Mental Wellbeing in South Gloucestershire project will also have an online survey (available by mid-September) and will be recruiting Mental Wellbeing Champions. For more information W:
