Anti-Bullying Week: 14th - 18th November 2016

The theme this year is 'Power for Good' and the Anti-Bullying Alliance are encouraging children, parents and teachers to think about how they can use their Power for Good to stop bullying in schools. The following link refers particularly to bullying of disabled or SEN children and has some thought provoking information and advice:

Do you feel you have an understanding of the pressures facing parents, carers and children and young people and are interested in supporting parents, carers and young people in the community...? Coffee Morning for Parents & Professionals: 29th November, 10am -12.00pm

Supportive Parents invites parents and professionals to share coffee and cake with us at our offices in central Bristol.  Come along and meet our friendly team at this informal gathering and find out more about our service.

Short Breaks for Young Disabled People & Their Families

Fancy a short break? If you are the parent or carer of a child with additional needs or a disability in Bristol, you might be interested in a FREE event running on Monday 19th September, at the MShed in Bristol. The 'Out and About Consortium' will be telling you about opportunities to get out and about on short breaks with your child. Running from 10am - 1pm or 5pm - 7.30pm, refreshments are available and there's no need to book. For more info call Kate Young on:07795 446317
