Farewell and Thank you to Angela Jones

We would also like to say a huge 'Thank you' to Angela Jones who has moved on from Supportive Parents. As you will know Angela has been a tremendous help to parents and carers on Supportive Parents Information and Support Line and a great support to parents at our Support Group meetings and Springboard settings as well as supporting Jackie Oxley with development work in North Somerset. We are sure that many of you will be sad to see Angela leave and grateful for her input in North Somerset. Thank you Angela, we wish you much happiness and all the best for the future.

Children's Paediatric Services

Dali Sidebottom Head of Children's Services commissioning for North Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group will be attending support group on 7th October to provide further feedback to parents and carers about further developments in Children's Paediatric Services. We encourage all parents and carers who have had concerns about local children's health services to come along, in particular those who attended the Supportive Parents/CCG meeting in April.

As you know many issues were raised at this meeting about the access and quality of Children's Paediatric services in North Somerset. The CCG are keen to continue engagement with parents on how these services can be more effective for the users and to ensure local needs are central to future commissioning of services. We hope you will feel this is a useful meeting.
