More support for families and young people

Supportive Parents have been sucessful in getting additional funding to extend our service to meet the needs of families with children and young people during the transition period of the SEND reforms.

We look forward to welcoming you to Support Group @ Kingswood Children's Centre BS15 9TP Tuesday 17 June from 7.30. Join us for coffee and a chat.

We will be talking about the local offer in schools, the reforms, independent support
and addressing any concerns you may have about your child, young person, changing class, moving on to primary, secondary, or on to college.

Sara will be on hand if you need a quiet chat.

Park on Hollow Road, the Children's Centre is behind the Park Opportunity Centre.

The SEND code was laid before Parliament 11 June 2014

The Code of Practice, Special Educational Needs and Disability Regulations and the Government’s response to the consultation on those documents are now on the Department’s web pages

It has been laid before Parliament 11 June 2014. Parliament must approve the Code to enable it to come into force 1 Sept 2014.
