South Gloucestershire Support Group Tuesday 19 March 2013 7.30pm to 9.15pm at Room 1 in the Supportive Education Unit, Brimsham Green Secondary School, Broad Lane, Yate BS37 7LB (the first building after school reception)

Nicky Owen, Inclusive Play Adviser, Children's Playlink,  will be coming along to talk about the services Children’s Playlink offer, from the holiday playschemes, to the buddy scheme which enables our children and young people  to attend a mainstream play or leisure activity.  Nicky will also provide us with information about how to access the service.


North Somerset Support Group, Thursday 14th March, 7.30 - 9.30 pm, The Firs, St Barnabas Centre, West Hill, Portishead BS20 6LN 

Jenny Maxwell, North Somerset Educational Psychologist will be coming along to talk about the Enhanced provision within schools for children and young people on the Austistic Spectrum. Jenny will also provide us with information about the out of schools activities she is currently involved with for this group.

The Council for Disabled Childrens (CDC) Spring digest is full 
of interesting information, contains a very clear
synopsis at pages 7 - 9 of the Children and Families Bill
and sets out the schedule for it's passing
through Parliament to its planned conclusion
and implementation in 2014.

Support Group 19th February 7.30.-9.30pm The Firs Drove Road, WSM, BS23 3NX 

A reminder that Support group will be meeting at The Firs, Drove Road, Weston Super Mare BS23 3NX this evening 19th February, from 7.30 pm - 9.30 pm. Jenny Maxwell, N.Somerset Principal Educational Psychologist will be coming along to join us about 8.15 pm. Jenny is leading the Enhanced provision for pupils on the Autistic Spectrum and will be updating us on current provision.
