Clive Osborne joined the Trustees in March 2019. Clive is an experienced SEND practitioner, having worked as a teacher and school leader in special education in Kent, East Sussex and Gloucestershire. Areas of specialism include autistic spectrum condition, SEMH, complex needs and challenging behaviour.
Between 2014 and 2016 Clive was Supportive Parents’ Development Programme Co-ordinator, helping to ensure our newly-extended service met the requirements of the Children and Families Act 2014 and the Code of Practice. Another part of his work was introducing and implementing the Charitylog database.
After leaving Supportive Parents, he spent more than a year working closely with the National Autistic Society’s Accreditation team.
Clive is now developing his own business as a mediator and trainer.
As a trustee Clive will be taking particular responsibility for Supportive Parents’ compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation – the GDPR.
