Volunteer with Supportive Parents - Long & Short Term Roles

Volunteers play a vital role in ensuring that Supportive Parents continue to develop and provide the best service.

Volunteer roles vary and we accept applications for long and short term positions. In the short term, you may provide skills and experience to support our marketing or administration teams and in the longer term you may advocate for the service within the community. These roles include connecting with community organisations, schools and colleges to raise awareness of our service or providing moral support to parents at important meetings. You may also be invited to support our Administration or Marketing teams or attend board meetings as a volunteer Trustee.

We encourage you to apply to volunteer with the Supportive Parents team if you are passionate about working within a Special Educational Needs and Disability Information, Advice and Support (SENDIAS) service and if you have knowledge or skills that you would like to share and develop within a client centred charity organisation.

Whether you have time and skills to share for a short period of time or would like to commit to longer-term, to gain work experience or contribute to our ever-developing service, we would like to hear from you.
